The Lake Eustis Museum of Art is a cultural hub in Lake County. With an impressive permanent collection and many temporary exhibits, this museum brings a rich and growing art presence to the city of Eustis and the surrounding area. the museum is open Monday-Friday from 10am to 4pm and from noon to 4 on Saturdays. There is a donation of $5 per person but members have free admission. The art museum is located right on Lakeshore Drive overlooking Lake Eustis and Ferran Park.
Although most folks think of a museum as being static, the Lake Eustis Museum of Art offers many activities, seminars and classes. Currently, they are hosting a weekly Wednesday class called Create and Critique, intended for those who paint with watercolors and acrylics to hone their skills. They also host holiday events with activities like a public auction or a wine event. There is also a literary guild that meets on the first Tuesday of every month to discuss various books. In addition to these recurring events, there are also educational classes for everything from pencil drawing to painting.
